ANSWER

How do I Chlorinate my well?

1. Start by adding a gallon of bleach to the well by pouring it down the well head.

2. Turn on all the faucets in the house. Keep the faucets running until the smell of the bleach is present at each faucet.

3. Turn the faucets off and don't turn back on for at least 48 hours (recommended).

4. When the 48 hours are up, turn all the faucets back on and run them until there is no longer any smell of bleach.

Note: It is recommended that you chlorinate your well at least every six months.
